A special cat honored through MSU scholarship

MISSISSIPPI STATE – Stephen and Dava Imes will always remember their cat Mac as being one of a kind, and they are ensuring his legacy lives on through a Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine scholarship.
Mac was a Maine coon cat, a breed known for its large size, long coat and intelligence. Stephen Imes of Columbus first saw Mac nine years ago in South Carolina and knew right away that Mac was something special.  Read more...

Dr. Andrew Mackin represented the CVM

Dr. Andrew Mackin recently represented the CVM at an MSU basketball game. Dr. Mackin is a professor and Service Chief of Small Animal Medicine and is the Hugh G. Ward Endowed Chair of Small Animal Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mackin is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Medicine and a fellow of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Canine Medicine. His primary clinical and research area of interest is internal medicine with a subspecialty of hematology.  Also on Facebook
