The field of veterinary medicine allows practitioners to diagnose and
treat animals of all kinds, and veterinary technicians and
technologists play an integral part by caring for and performing tests
on animals to help licensed veterinarians formulate accurate diagnoses
and treatment plans.
Fortunately for those who are interested in pursuing a career in
veterinary technology, job growth throughout the next decade is expected
to be brisk. In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics,
veterinary technician and technologist jobs are projected to increase by
