Dr. Bruce L. Clark, a 1982 graduate of MSU-CVM and 2009 Alumni Fellow, sharing his career experiences in the CVM Auditorium.
Dr. Clark is a native of Okolona, MS and holds Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Mississippi State University. After a short stint in private veterinary practice, he completed a theriogenology residency at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology and has completed graduate level courses in business administration, ruminant nutrition, perinatal pathology and leadership facilitation training. Upon completion of his residency, he was a theriogenology faculty member at Missouri.
In 1988 he returned to his alma mater for a 10 year stint as an associate professor in our food animal practice group where he led efforts to incorporate electronic data capture and computer analysis of production data into routine dairy herd health programs. Since 1998 he has held veterinary technical services supervisory positions with Monsanto Corporation and is currently Director, Training and Technical Services Development for NorthStar Cooperative, Inc. in Lansing, Michigan.
